It was a Paul Harvey line, of course. Tonight’s Food Porn is the rest of my Valentine’s Day dinner planned but not executed. The idea for Valentine’s was Surf ‘n Turf consisting of lobster and filet mignon. We had the lobster alone because the plan was too much protein for a single meal. Tonight, I prepared the Sous Vide filet and a sauce of Shiitake mushrooms, bleu cheese crumbles, green onion, heavy cream and sous vide drippings.
Susan baked each of us a spud. A good time was had by all.
