I have a friend who says that cats are mysterious creatures; I agree. At times they are sinewy, solid bundles of muscle. At other times, they seem to exist in a four-dimensional space – Height, Depth, Length and Fluffiness. The last of these dimensions curls up on itself when your cat is wet. At other times, cats appear to be liquid – taking the form and shape of a container that they have chosen to occupy – a box, a bowl, or a chair, in this instance.
