Trump waged an ongoing jihad with inspectors general whether they were at the DOJ, the GAO or anywhere else in government. Of course, anyone looking into his administration was sure to find graft, procedural violations, waste, fraud and abuse in addition to other forms of criminality because that’s how the Trump enterprise rolls.
I too have inspectors general. They inspect virtually everything, and they are very conscientious. Below you will see them inspecting today’s Amazon delivery. My friend Susan Syler has on occasion, quipped that Amazon deliveries are a bit like Christmas when something arrives. She’s right, and my inspectors general agree.
This particular delivery was a new set of cookware to replace our now decades old Calphalon PFAS-coated pots and pans. Let’s just face it, after this many years, we have eaten all of the non-stick coating. The new stuff is stainless steel AVACRAFT. AVACRAFT is a woman-owned small business – FWIW. It’s the perfect, PFAS-free, non-stick cookware for those of us who are not allergic to Chromium or Nickel – the metals that are alloyed with steel to make stainless steel. Susan gave them a quick wash in the dishwasher after we had unpacked them, and the girls had conducted their inspections.
