You will remember from Highschool Chemistry or Physics or perhaps college courses in the same disciplines, that matter can change from one state to other states. With the addition of energy, solids can become liquids. Liquids can become gases, and gases can become plasmas. Sometimes, solids can become gases without passing through the liquid phase; we call that sublimation.
I’ve never seen a cat undergo sublimation unless we are going to count the Cheshire cat who underwent the transition from a corporeal solid to nothing but a grin without ever becoming a liquid. Most cats, as they lose energy become torpid and soon thereafter liquid. Here is Kedi this evening, lying next to Susan who is reading her Kindle.
Kedi has made the phase transition from solid cat to LiquiCat (liquid cat).
