The new Charbroil 2-burner grill made its debut today. This grill is about 2″ taller than Lil’ Red was. I like this because of the ergonomics; I find bending over a grill or stove or anything else more tiring than just standing next to it.
The new grill reaches 350F temperature in just a few minutes. I always pre-heat the grill. Lil’ Red had gotten rather old and inefficient (like its owner), and having a peppy new grill is really nice.
Here she is cooking up some sausage links; these are real meat rather than those plant-based abominations that cause Republicans’ heads to explode. The top rack is perfect for keeping the meat warm once it is done without over-cooking it.
We each had 1 1/2 sausages with a grilled Hatch chili pepper and a side of pickled vegetables and a micro-Caprese salad drizzled in Bourdeaux Cherry Balsamic vinegar. Yummy. I give this new grill a score of 10/10 on the Grilling scale of Culinary Porn.
