I’ve cooked and eaten a lot of Spaghetti over the last two decades; it was a favorite of our son’s growing up. The last few years, I have turned to No. 6 Bucatini as an alternative. I think that it holds pasta sauce somewhat better. Perhaps it’s the hole in the little tubes of pasta. Then again, maybe it’s just my imagination. In either case, last night was a pasta night. We had a few basil pasta crostini and a small salad of pickled vegetables. It was all very satisfying.

Tonight’s dinner will be helix snails in garlic butter with some crostini rounds. I’m looking forward to them.
