We are having a nice thunderstorm in Central Texas this afternoon and evening. We got 3.5″ of rain in about two hours. It is still raining albeit a mere sprinkle compared to earlier. There is thunder in the distance. The Weather Channel app forecast calls for more rain in the wee hours. We are not in a flood prone area, but those who are, may see flash floods, I think.
Below is the beginning of the storm. Maia is looking out onto the deck. I think that she may be wondering what happened to the birds that she often watches from this sidelight. The second video shows what Kedi sees when she looks out through the French doors onto the deck.
