While I typically post astrophotography, food photos, and political commentary, I occasionally post images and/or commentary about the wildlife around our suburban home – a fox, a lizard, a bug, a plant and so on. I am a biology watcher, after all.
Today’s post is a video snippet of three birds splashing in our tallest water feature on the front deck. They are a House Finch (reddish head and breast), and a male and female Lesser Gold Finches (the male has the brighter colors). Everyone seems to be having a good time.
