Tonight’s dinner porn was Sous Vide Fillet Mignon (cooked for 1hr at 135F) with an improvised sauce of sous vide drippings, sauteed Shiitake mushrooms, a pat of butter, and a couple of splashes of A1 steak sauce. The steaks were sous vide medium rare with butter, rosemary, coarse black pepper and Kosher salt. I finished them on the outdoor gas grill.

The sides were rosemary PeeWee potatoes roasted with lemon slices, and covered with sauteed, sliced Shiitakes. The salad was Jicama slices with a splash of Tabasco sauce, a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime. 🙂
