We were both feeling lazy this evening, and we decided to thaw some soup from our freezer. The selection was a batch of Ina Garten’s Roasted Tomato Basil Soup. Susan made rustic grilled cheese sandwiches from slices of a French Batard and three white cheeses (sliced Mozzarella, shredded Swiss, and shredded Monterrey Jack. It was a comfort food meal, to be sure.

I need to make another batch of this comfort soup for a nice Winter meal.
