Not the WWW – the Web of Life. Perhaps you put corn out for the deer or maybe pet food for the racoons – not the best idea, if you ask me. Maybe you just abet whatever wildlife lives in your neighborhood. I do, but I am also finicky. I don’t want wasps setting up housekeeping under my home’s eaves or in the doorways or windows. I’m not particularly welcoming of skunks despite the fact that they do live in and around my backyard.
We have several water features around the property, and the local birds, mammals and occasional marsupials find them a refuge during the hot Texas summers. So do smaller creatures like these vespids.
