Messier 33 (M33) in the constellation Triangulum is the third largest galaxy in the Local Group. It is some 3 million light years from Earth. In an astrograph larger than the instrument I used at Casitas de Gila, M33 has a distinct spiral structure with many pink H-II regions (stellar nurseries consisting of ionized hydrogen) in its spiral arms. My humble image only vaguely suggests those structures.
The images below are a cropped field and the full DSLR frame respectively. Twenty-one, 4-minute exposures at ISO3200 were combined with 18, 6-minute exposures at ISO6400 (a total of 3h 14-minutes imaging time).
