It’s great to be back home. Tonight, I made bucatini with hot Italian sausage and pasta sauce. Mom’s pasta sauce has lots of basil and whole garlic cloves – yum! The side salad was a medley of pickled olives, okra, marinated mushrooms, pickled artichoke hearts, and a dolma – all drizzled with Bourdeaux Cherry balsamic vinegar.

As Dorothy said while clicking the heels of her ruby slippers, “There’s no place like home.”
