Today in Central Texas, it has been 30-33F outside, wet, and dreary. It’s a good thing that we had half a rack of lamb in the fridge to warm up for dinner. The forecast for tomorrow and Thursday is no better. We may have to cook up some dogs just to keep from having to go to the grocery store.
We’ve spent the day doing housekeeping chores, watching TV, and generally lazing about like the cats do. Oh, and entering more 1099 data into TurboTax. Doing all this work for Uncle Sam, I think I should get some reward for my efforts. But, I know that the rewards are earmarked for Mark, Jeff, Elon, Donald, and the rest of the elite class that is too good to have to pay taxes let alone file their own tax returns. Alas!
