I bought Italian meatballs at the Central Market today. My plan was to have bucatini and meatballs with Mom’s pasta sauce. Susan prepared slices of French baguette with garlic butter, and we both assembled Med salads for our meal.

The dinner looked like this:

Susan observed that the meatballs were still pink on the inside. I thought that I had given them plenty of time on the stove. Shit!

Susan looked at the meatball package to ascertain the ingredients – Venison, Pork and Waygu Beef. So, it looks like there may be Taenia solium, Taenia saginata, and perhaps some spongiform encephalopathy in our futures.

I so hate Cestodes!
