I’m not sure why we need a weeklong RNC or DNC Convention when there is only one candidate for each. It’s a waste of news time to my thinking.
I made shrimp scampi for dinner this evening. My Goto recipe for this meal is from thespruceeats.com. I usually save the shrimp shells and boil them in white wine while I cook the shrimp. Later, I add the shrimp-flavored wine to the shrimp, and later still, to the pasta itself once everything is together in the sauté pan.
I also made a nice Greek village salad as a side.
The final plating looked like this. The lemon zest as a final garnish is a real treat; too bad that I forgot to add the squeezed lemon juice to the cooking shrimp. Sigh.
