It was mostly clear today; so, dodging clouds during my solar video sessions was unnecessary. The solar disk looked like this:

The bright plage at 9 o’clock has moved further on the solar disk as the sun continues to rotate. The dark, wavy filaments on the disk’s interior at 9 and 5 o’clock are prominences like those at the edge of the disk but seen head on. The prominences on the edge of the upper left solar limb appear below – magnified to make their features more obvious.

The complex group of prominences at the left lower limb of the solar disk are shown magnified below:
