You probably recall that line from Ghostbusters. “Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!” That’s not this post. The pig is a butterflied pork chop, and the lamb is a lamb shoulder chop. These days, I can’t post this or any other blog entry on Facebook without having the FB gestapo knocking at or kicking down the door of my digital domain.

This evening, I put these cuts of meat on the grill while Susan nuked a packet of Tasty Bites Bombay Potatoes – a packet of diced potatoes in a curry sauce not unlike what might be used as a filling for those delicious Samosas of South-Asian provenance. Yum!

I recently compiled a list of all the dinners we have – some forty-something, I think. We could go six weeks without eating the same meal twice, but the truth is that we enjoy some meals more than others. Maybe you do as well. So, some meals we have several times a month and others we have every month or two.

This evening’s dinner was augmented with Mango chutney for Susan’s pork chop and Mother’s Mild Lime Pickle for my lamb shoulder chop. It looked like this.

Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg have nothing on us!
