Today’s solar image is a stack of the best 125 frames from an AVI movie of 630 frames. It is an 8-bit image taken at the camera’s highest resolution. The most remarkable features today are the arcuate prominences at the sun’s Northwestern and Western limbs just west of the sunspot group AR3780. There is some prominence activity at the South pole as well.
