The high today was 106F. The skies were completely clear, and I got my solar imaging done while it was no hotter than a balmy 104. There was also a nice breeze.
The solar disk looked like this:

There were active prominences in almost every solar disk quadrant. Those that caught my eye were along the southeastern and eastern limbs, the south pole and the western limb.




The major sunspot groups are AR3794, AR3790 and AR3792, and the groups arising from the eastern limb – AR3796 and Ar3798. New groups, not yet named, are emerging from the eastern limb.



I do not know what the wedge-shaped feature in the east-northern region is or whether it has a designation.
