Today’s weather forecast called for clouds and rain. Well, we got the first part. Nonetheless, I managed a 3-minute AVI and a usable stack of frames that were adequate albeit less than ideal. I think something like that will probably wind up in my obituary.

The distinct jet/plume from an Eastern limb prominence that we saw yesterday is now gone. It either fell back onto the solar surface or perhaps dissipated into the corona. The prominence plume that we saw yesterday in the northwestern limb is now more prominent and looks like this:

The most active sunspot groups appear below. They have been producing some strong flares that past couple of days.
