Emphasizing the prominences, one can see that there is prominence activity along the western, southern, and eastern limbs.

Below is today’s sunspot cameo. The active regions are not annotated because of some glitch in the web-based annotation software. Sigh.
Some of the most active regions are getting close to the western limb and about to disappear to the far side of the sun. A new region (AR3850?) is just emerging from the eastern limb.
