Today’s solar image is in H-alpha light and highlights the complex prominence that we saw in yesterday’s image along the sun’s southwestern limb. There are other, smaller prominences along the northwestern, southeastern, and eastern limbs. There are also many filaments as well as bright, active regions visible on the solar disk.
