The H-alpha image below shows a complex plage around sunspot groups AR3976, 3977, 3978, and 3981. There is a plume of plasma high above chromosphere along the western limb and a dramatic loop prominence along the southwestern limb. The latter is showcased at the bottom of this page.

Here’s today’s sunspot image. AR3980, visible in today’s NASA’s image, is not visible in my image below.
