After a week of overcast skies and a little rain, the sky cleared this afternoon in time for my usual solar photoshoot window. The H-alpha image below shows prominences along the NW, SW, and SE solar limbs. There are also plages around active regions as well as dark filaments (prominences as seen against the solar disk).

The sunspot image below shows many new active regions and the disappearance of the older regions that we were following last week.
