Today’s H-alpha image shows the bright plages of six active regions, many filaments and some prominence activity along the SE and SW solar limbs.
The sunspot image shows six of seven active regions. AR4045 which lies to the west of AR4048 and north of AR4049 is too faint to see in my image.
