Today’s H-alpha image shows loop prominences along the NE and East solar limbs as well as along the NW, West, and SW limbs. The bright plage around AR4058 is about to rotate to the far side of the sun.

The corresponding sunspot image now shows only five active regions, and two of them, AR4048 and 4055 are about to disappear as the pass the sun’s western horizon.

The prominences along the eastern solar limb are shown below. These are loop and bridge structures of solar plasma.
