Today’s H-alpha solar image shows much more prominence activity than we saw earlier this week. There are arches sun stuff and some material being ejected high above the NE, SE, NW, and SW solar limbs. There is also a complex of bright plages surrounding AR4165 and AR4168 near the center of the solar disk.

The sunspot image today shows five active regions. AR4167 is about to disappear over the sun’s western horizon.
