Yesterday, we had clouds most of the day, and rain in the late afternoon. So, there was no solar imaging. Today, it was partially cloudy with some clearings adequate for a solar photoshoot.

Below, today’s H-alpha image shows a large solar prominence eruption along the sun’s NW limb, some arch prominences along the SW limb, and some delicate arches along the SE limb. There is minor activity along the NE limb.

The corresponding sunspot image shows the same four active regions that we saw two days ago. The NASA SDO image shows the same thing.
