Today’s H-alpha image shows prominence activity along the WSW solar limb but is otherwise quiet.
The sunspot image shows the same five active regions identified on today’s NASA SDO image. New regions AR4274-75 have emerged from behind the sun’s far side to appear along the eastern limb. AR4267 is about to disappear behind the sun’s western limb.
The western limb prominences are highlighted below.
