Below, today’s H-alpha image shows minor prominence activity along the sun’s western limb.

Today’s sunspot image shows AR4308 which yesterday was visible only in H-alpha. Similarly, AR4304 is still visible in H-alpha represented by its associated bright plage, but too faint to see in the sunspot image.
