Today’s H-alpha image shows four active regions that appear on NASA’s SDO image. Some are represented by a sunspot and others by their associated plages. The region that I have labelled “AR?” appears on the SDO image as well, but it has no designation. I wonder whether it might be AR4313, and someone just failed to annotate it.

The largest prominences appear along the W-NW and SE limbs. Note the plume of sun stuff high above the chromosphere just below the letter “W” in the image below.

In the corresponding sunspot image, only AR4312 is well seen.
