The past three days were overcast but today was clear and sunny. Today’s H-alpha image shows four of the five active regions visible on NASA’s SDO image. The main prominences are along the sun’s western limb. AR4376 is represented by its bright plage. AR4377 isn’t visible at all.

The corresponding sunspot image below shows only three of the four active regions noted above. AR4376 and -77 are not visible in my image.

Below, today’s large prominences appear along the sun’s NW and SW limbs.
