Today’s H-alpha image shows all six of the active regions seen on NASA’s SDO image. The largest prominences today are along the NE and SW solar limbs. The NE prominence has delicate arcs of sun stuff being flung outward from the sun.

My sunspot image is again a bit out of focus. I need to figure out how to improve it. Active region 4397, while clearly visible in the H-alpha image is too faint to see here.
