After a hiatus imposed by cloudy weather, my solar images are back online. It was partly cloudy today, but the “sucker holes” (breaks in the clouds) allowed me to make 6 .AVI movies from which I could distill these images. Today’s H-alpha image shows impressive prominences along the NE, SE, NW, and SW solar limbs. There are four active regions.

Below, the sunspot image shows all four active regions clearly.

The eastern limb prominences are shown below.

And below are the western limb prominences.
