Today’s H-alpha image shows eight active regions three of which are represented mostly by their associated plages. There is dramatic prominence activity along the W-NW limb though not elsewhere.

The corresponding sunspot image shows five of the active regions. Those along the sun’s W limb are not visible.

The W-NW prominences adjacent to AR4455 are shown below. Note the umbrella-like plume closest to the western limb.
