Today’s solar photoshoot was less than ideal; it was partly cloudy and sky transparency was poor due to a diffuse cover of cirrus clouds. So, today’s H-alpha image lacks some clarity. There is a new active region at the sun’s eastern limb – AR4482. The four active regions that we saw yesterday are still present, but AR4480 is about to disappear to the sun’s far side. There is minor prominence activity along the E and NW solar limbs.
