Blog

Hello

This is a personal blog in which I will share astrophotographs, food porn pictures, thoughts on medicine, and other musings. Thank you for visiting. Clicking the Blog button above will take you to a page that indexes my posts. The posts are listed in reverse chronological order so that you don’t have to waste any time figuring out whether you have missed any posts.

Why I invited you here

I recently decided to leave FaceBook after being sent to the gulag for the fifth time in as many months. It seems that calling out politicians who sell their votes to industry lobbiests is not tolerated on that platform. What did I call them? Whores, of course – they sold their votes for campaign contributions. Is that not the very essence of prostitution?

No matter; here I am on a new platform where I do not expect to be censored. I suppose that we shall see.

For the moment, I am just sharing this image of the Andromeda galaxy, Messier 31, just to get a feel for this platform and the tools that it provides. The galaxy image was created from astrophotographs that I shot Sept 9, 2021 at Casitas de Gila in Gila, New Mexico. The image needs more tweaking, but I will get around to that in the following weeks. Enjoy, and give me your reactions to this nacent blog.
