I have been seeing ads for a Fox Network special titled, “The Miseducation of America,” on MSNBC. The irony is not lost on me. In my medical essay on the COVID Apocalypse, I observed that Pharma companies had placed “Profit over Probity.” It’s an epidemic. Not COVID; I mean placing profitability above what is best for the society and community. “Fox entertainment,” I refuse to call it Fox News, is an excellent example of this malady, but it is by no means the only one. Spotify giving Joe Rogan a platform to spread misinformation that leads to the deaths of Spotify’s listeners is another. There are others, of course. I group all of them under the umbrella of “unfettered capitalism run amok.” Yeah, call me a socialist; I don’t give a fuck.
The ads for “The Miseducation of America,” sound a clarion call regarding the threat that “Progressives invading our classrooms” pose to proper, gentile America. No, I haven’t watched it, and I have no plans to watch it. In my mind’s eye, I can see 130K liberal progressives on the borders of our children’s schools waiting to invade at any moment in order to teach the evils of racism, climate change, gender inequality, and all the rest of the progressive agenda. Fox and its following of insecure White Christian Males are girding their loins for the battle to come.
The loins, in the unlikely case that you do not remember, are the part of the body between the ilio-psoas muscles and the genitalia. To gird them means to bind and protect them. I suggest a combination of leather and metal armor to guard them against injury. After all, what do we gain in winning a conflict that renders us impotent or infertile? All the White Christian dudes are gingerly holding their testicles as they read these words. We progressives won’t fight a clean fight; we’re coming to emasculate you, Pendejos!
So, be warned. I and the entire army of 130K progressives at your child’s school’s borders are ready to launch our offensive, a war of liberation, on America’s youth. We are armed with BOOKS – about History, Logic, and Science.
And, our loins are girded.
