Every morning, when I get up, I check the markets – well, when they are open, of course. This year, so far, there seem to have been more days that the markets have fallen than risen – the DOW, Nasdaq and S&P. I don’t follow the European, UK or Pacific basin markets as closely. This morning, I did my usual market ritual, and I saw a lot of red ink – just as I have most of this week. Later, in the evening, I saw that the markets not only recovered but even rallied.
Why the hell am I posting about the markets? It’s simple; you and I have both been watching too much about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. And, you probably know more about that than I do. What I know from the news reports is sad and depressing. So, I thought I would post something upbeat.
We all need it, but the Ukrainians need it even more. 🙁
