We have Texas Spiny Lizards here, but they disappear during the winter months. They hibernate, I suspect. Today, sitting on the back patio with a glass of white wine, I noticed that one of our scaley reptilian friends was back. We call them Gojira (Godzilla in Japanese). This one is about 10″ long – half is body and the other half is tail. They’re quite inoffensive, and they eat mosquitoes. I can’t say how much I appreciate that about them.
