Ari Melber’s MSNBC program, The Beat, is on the TV. He’s commenting on Justice Alito’s majority SCOTUS opinion casting abortion rights in the trash bin of American law. Of course, all rights that derive from the 14th Amendment are now potential targets for SCOTUS repeal. Contraception, and Same-sex relationships including marriage are all on the table according to Clarence Thomas. I wonder how Genni would feel about throwing out the Loving decision. Hmmm. Susan is headed to the fridge for an adult beverage.
Susan: “I think that they should just go ahead and eliminate the right of people of opposite genders to marry.”
Me thinking silently: “They could leave it up to the individual states. Flaming heterosexuals. They shouldn’t be allowed to adopt either. They’re just going to groom those kids to be heterosexuals even if the kids are LGBTQ.”
