I could post something related to the pending election results. So could you. What would be the point? It will all work out as it is supposed to. Instead, I present you with the meal that Susan made us this evening. I bought some lamb and beef Kofta at the Central Market, and Susan dusted it lightly with Garam Masala – making it as much South Asian as Middle Eastern. She microwaved some Chana (Indian chickpeas) and toasted some Pita bread that she quartered.
The salad was Dolmas with pickled vegetables. And the sauce for the Kofta was Tzatziki. It was yummy, and a hell of a lot more satisfying than politics.
