Susan came home this evening from her Omaha visit. I prepared this surf ‘n turf supper for her. The turf is a sous vide (2hrs at 131.5F) filet mignon smothered in a bleu cheese, shiitake cream sauce. The surf is a simple shrimp cocktail. And, the salad is a “spinach salad” with walnuts, bleu cheese, and tangerine supremes. We both ate heartily.
