Tonight’s dinner porn was a Sous Vide filet cooked at 139F for 1hr and then finished in a cast iron skillet for about four minutes total. I smothered the steaks in a creamy, bleu cheese sauce with sauteed Shitakii mushrooms. Susan prepared Greek peewee potatoes – drizzled with EVOO, covered with lemon slices. I created the salad at the grocery store salad bar – our favorite greens and vegetables.
It was a decadent meal that reminded me of that scene in The Matrix in which Cifer is dining with Agent Smith in the Matrix – He says: “You know, I know this steak doesn’t exist.
