It probably conjures up memories of Christmas songs asserting that Santa and his spies figure out who’s been naughty and who’s been nice. But you probably know me better than that.
I was referring to today’s news that Texas AG and total ass-wipe, Ken Paxton, asked the Texas DPS to provide his office with a list of all the individuals who had their gender changed on their driver’s license anytime in the last 24 months. The request occurred during the summer, and after some consideration, the DPS responded that they could not comply with the request because that information would have to be collected manually.
So, what purpose could such a list serve? Is Ken going to check it twice to make sure he hasn’t dated anyone on it? Is he thinking that his ultra-right-wing crazies would like that list in order to doxx trans Texans? Maybe he’s going to order genital exams for all of them. Or maybe he just wants to identify those of school age in order to guarantee that trans females do not participate in girls’ sports.
These people are not just troglodytes; they’re demonstrably evil. What’s next? Does he request a list of all the Jews in Texas. Yeah, that. 🙁
