Last night, I decided to try a Japanese dinner for this evening’s dinner. It was more a matter of assembly rather than actual cookery. The sushi and sashimi came from the Central Market.

The dinner plan was for shrimp flavor ramen noodles with a couple of sautéed shrimp and half of a King Trumpet mushroom which I scored on the cut side. The Ramen bowl was a commercial, pre-packaged affair. All I did was sauté four fresh shrimp and the halved medium Trumpet mushroom to add to the Ramen.

The sushi was Nigiri style, and the appetizer was tuna and salmon sashimi. It looked like this – yum!
