Our DIL gifted us several boxes of cascatelli pasta, and I have been trying to use it in various ways – searching for recipes that make good use of it. This evening, Susan prepared her signature shrimp-stuffed mushroom caps, and I prepared a zucchini pasta dish that I saw on Nigellissima the other day.

We most often use small portobella mushroom caps for the stuffed mushrooms, but today I brought large, white button mushrooms home. Susan’s preparation was delicious- even better than the portobellas that we usually have. Nigella Lawson’s zucchini pasta made with castatelli was a perfect complement.
