The last time we took Kedi and Maia to the vet, the cat carrier, a hard plastic, clamshell affair, fell apart as I walked across the deck. Maia spilled out on the deck and ran around a bit disoriented. Had this happened outside the vet’s office, she would have run into a busy street almost certainly to be struck by car. We resolved to purchase new carriers.
Our first attempt was another hard plastic clamshell of slightly different design. Amazon delivered it, we assembled it, and we quickly realized that the carrier’s handle would separate from the carrier so easily that the carrier was useless. Alas!
Today, we went to PetCo and acquired two soft carriers made with a zippered front and a similarly zippered top. I opened the front of one carrier and set both of them on the floor. Neither Kedi nor Maia could resist exploring the open carrier. Here is Maia posing for a photo-shoot to advertise her new Sherpa brand carrier.
They both have vaccination appointments with the vet next week.
