We met up with our friend Enrique at the Central Market this afternoon. It’s been several years since we got together for a drink and a chat at the Central Market’s Deli/Bistro. After a brief chat to catch up on the various events in our lives, I went to gather the makings of this evening’s dinner – crab cake porn.
I bought a box of Umami mushrooms (Royal Trumpets, Shiitake, and Oyster mushrooms). Next, I went to the fish monger. Central Market makes a respectable Maryland style crab cake; I bought two. I also asked for six, large Gulf shrimp. I bought a store made Ceasar salad. These ingredients then became dinner.
